1954 Chevrolet Corvette, very original, 62118 original miles. This car was completely gone through by a NCRS Judge and all the systems were repaired and judged as a 2nd Flight Survivor. The reason that the car did not make Top Flight Survivor is that there was a minor repair to rear quarter panel and paint probably in the late 1950's or early 1960's according to the way the repair was done. This Corvette had a Plasticon hard top installed at the dealer and the top has been on the car all these years, the original top and frame are intact and very nice but the top is stained from non-use. The NCRS judge that worked on the car charged me $21,000.00 to get this Corvette back to top running and performing condition using all OEM parts. All the invoices are included in the sale. Services performed by the NCRS Judge is as follows: . Carbs were remove, blasted, painted and blueprinted . New fuel pump . New air cleaners . Front wheel cylinders . Serviced steering gear box . New OEM dipstick . Installed hinge pin kit . Rebuilt the windshield wiper motor . Restored the windshield wipers . Installed Al Knoch carpet kit . Installed Dynamat sound proofing . Rebuilt vacuum motor . Replaced all vacuum lines . Cleaned and re-installed all trim . Rebuilt blower motor. . Rebuilt all interior and exterior lighting systems (all the lights work on the car inside and out) . Rebuilt door hinges . New rear brake cylinders . Rebuilt OEM Wonderbar radio conversion to be able to look stock but play your iPod. Replaced speaker. . OEM trunk lock bezel and retainer and trunk lock rod . All gauges restored . All new hoses and gaskets . Rear pinion seal . NCRS inspection . New wiring harness . Rebuilt automatic shifter system . New tie rods . New water pump . Rear main seal . Rebuilt fuel system front to back . Rebuilt motor and transmission back to OEM factory specifications. . Al Knoch seat covers . MUCH MUCH more but no room to list, invoices will show all work (8 page invoice totaling $21,000.00.) This car runs like a sewing machine, it is still 6V but is easy to start and starts every time. The car has a pair of restored side curtains in the trunk along with the original spare tire. Original motor, transmission and rear end. This car is ready to be driven by the new owner, you will be very pleased with the original 1954 Corvette. This car does not need to be restored (that would be a sin), this car is a very fine example of a great running and performing ORIGINAL car.
