It doesn't get any more iconic than a 55 Chevy Bel Air 2dr hardtop. 350/350 with outstanding paint. I bought the car because of the laser straight body with excellent paint work and a upgraded engine/trans. It has power steering/brakes. I paid the starting price now advertised in this listing for this car 5 years ago and put in another 10K plus to make it a reliable daily driver.. All extra cost additions were things you don't necessarily see. Didn't trust wiring (too many splices), so had it completely re-wired with a new loom. New alternator, radiator, new power booster to the front disc brakes, new rear leaf springs, front end ball joints and did many other things (all receipts have been kept). Have 14 other classic cars and decided to place this one for sale and a 1957 Olds 98. But I still have garage space and will not answer emails with bids less than the starting bid and do no want a trade. I do not need to sell and still enjoy taking this one out.
