1956 Chevy 210 Post 265V8 Solid Idaho Car

Your bidding on a 1956 Chevy 210 Post NON RUNNING Restoration Project. Solid Idaho Car.

I am selling this 1956 Chevy 210 Post for my parents, I am not the owner of the car and they have asked me to sell it on their behalf as they do not do eBay.
They have owned this since the early 1980's. I drove this in High School in the mid 80's, that was when it was in its prime condition. It was last registered in 2005. At that time it had some work done to it and was running fine. The battery cables got crossed and burned some wires I am told. At that point my parents decided to store it. It has been sitting in a shop for the last 15 years collecting dust.
They are at the age of just enjoying the grand kids and are wanting this to go to a buyer that will enjoy and restore it. At this point the ignition key cannot be found so you may need to put in a new mechanism which I see for $16 on eBay and key if not found.
I would think it would not take much to get the current 265V8 and Automatic Powerglide Transmission awoke and running again with the wiring fixed etc. Although I would bet someone will just want to take this solid car and totally do it with new running gear etc. I guess the new owner can decide that.

The car is being sold as is and a non running vehicle. So make sure you find a shipper that hauls non running cars and has a winch to pull the car up. Or better yet come pick this up in person which we welcome and encourage.
The buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. We will help work with your shipper on a day to pick up. We ask that it is picked up in a reasonable time frame. Within 30 days is usually the normal.
We will only sell to the lower 48 Mainland USA Only. No over seas or out of Country sales.
My parents will work with you and your personal bank if you decide on a wire transfer which I have done in the past on my sales and purchases as it is immediate. Cash is King and is immediate. Cashiers Checks will have to clear even if that takes three weeks. The car cannot be picked up until we are confident the payment has cleared.
We want a safe transaction for both buyer and seller. This is not my car but I have sold a few on eBay over the years with no issues. Some buyers have driven out to pick it up and others choose to ship.
The car is located in Southeastern Idaho in the City of Blackfoot. If you have questions I will do the best to get you the answers. It has a clear Idaho title.
