Car description |

Right out of the south, I was blown away how clean the floors are. This Chevelle has fantastic colors and is really nice overall.
EXTERIOR: That deep metallic blue is phenomenal. Clean southern body, it is absolutely straight down both sides and across the top. All the body panels fit real square and flush. It is smooth, even along the bottom there's no bubbles. The paint looks like I could dive right into it. The metal flake is laid out evenly, the clear is polished glossy. The blue really highlights in places the light hits it. Most of the chrome and trim looks like it's been replaced. In front it has a new bumper, the grill and moldings are in excellent condition. All 4 headlights are reproduction T-3s. The moldings around the windows and gutters excellent. New emblems, door handles and bowtie mirrors. In back the bumper and trim across the trunk is new. Door jambs are real clean, has new weather strips. Windshield was replaced. Has 14 inch rally wheels with spinners center caps. The tires are so new it still has the nubs on the tread.
INTERIOR: Very rich saddle color works great against the blue. I just hopped in the car and first thing I noticed are the seats are completely rebuilt. New springs and cushions, they feel like a new car. New reproduction door panels and upholstery. It has an original chrome center console with an updated shift indicator that matches up with the 3-speed automatic. The metal trim inside the car has been repainted. It has the optional padded dash. New chrome instrument bezel. It has in dash tachometer and factory gauges. There are also new (more accurate) gauges under the dash. The glovebox liner is new, has owner manual. Headliner and visors are new, the dome light works. The carpets have been replaced with a more premium, softer grade. It has seat belts. A retro stereo fits right in the factory hole. It has a beautiful custom steering wheel.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Strong, reliable and smooth running 350 motor that wad completely rebuilt. On top it has an aluminum intake with a Holley carb, upgraded Pertronix billet distributor. It has aluminum pulleys and chrome alternator. It features power brakes and power steering. It has been upgraded with a polished aluminum radiator with an electric fan that keeps it running real cool. Bottom of the hood is painted blue, overall the motor compartment is very tidy clean.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed and upholstered to match the inside, even a custom spare tire cover has been made. Has carpet on the floor with bound edges. The bottom of the trunk lid and jambs are painted real nice, weather strip is new.
UNDERSIDE: Holy cow are the floors clean underneath this car, they look as dry as a chalkboard. They look to be completely original with no patches. The inner rockers still have the original rubber drain flaps. The floors have never even been spray painted over, they left them original so people can appreciate how clean they are. The dual exhaust system has stainless steel electric dumps. A button inside turns the rumble into a roar. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks new, flywheel cover is there. Upgraded with a turbo 350 automatic that looks fresh. Brakes have been redone and upgraded to disc in the front, emergency brake cable assembly is complete. Front end components look like they've been replaced- the ball joints, tie rod ends, bushings etc. Has coul over shocks in back.
I drove this car home and around town. I was very happy. Started, stopped, steered real well. Everyone says how sharp the colors are!
