Car description

This 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS tribute is exactly what you want in a muscle car. It has been restored to have a mean stance, great chrome, and a bright presentation. Best of all, with a performance big block and four-on-the-floor, this great-looking coupe also knows how to move.

Third-generation Novas are great cars. The fastback styling of the coupe combines with sporty elements like the faux louvered hood to create an iconic bow-tie muscle machine. But this one also showcases an extra premium presentation mixed into its performance. You see it in the professional application of the white paint to make sure the body looks crisp and the whole car pops in the sunshine. It also looks like there was a solid investment in the big chrome bumpers to keep up with the shine. The black SS grille and rear panel give this a timelessly attractive contrast, and it looks so good that a cool full-length black stripe package was added, too. And the competition-style American Racing Torq Thrust wheels add to both this car's style and substance.

For the same reason we like the black accents of the exterior, you're going to love the full black interior. You can instantly tell there was a solid investment all-around to keep it clean, comfortable, and ready to show off. While this Nova is nice for all five occupants, all the upgrades proves this is clearly a driver's car at its heart. It starts with bucket seats up front with an armrest and cup holder center console. There are Summit auxiliary gauges below the dash, an Equus tach ahead of the dual-spoke steering wheel, and a Hurst shifter. These all tell your senses there's something special under the hood even before you twist the key and hear it roar.

The engine bay is nicely detailed everywhere from the hood padding to the decals. But what really grabs your attention is the big block heart in the middle. While the callouts on the fender say 427, that's a bit of a fib, because this has a LARGER 454 cubic-inch V8. It's a nicely built big block with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with a Quick fuel four-barrel carburetor. There's even an aluminum radiator to help keep the mighty motor running cool. This one fires up readily as long tube headers add even more power while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. You're in complete control of the fury and thunderous soundtrack thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. This feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. Plus, power brakes with front discs, and modern tires make for a well-done driving package.

Complete with maintenance records, this is the Nova with a great shine and serious big block power. So if you love a muscle machine that knows how to arrive, call today!
