With a smooth red look on the outside, an upgraded A/C interior, and fresh V8 power under the hood, this 1954 Chevrolet 3100 has a ton of appeal that goes beyond its already desirable 5-window cab.
While these Chevy trucks are absolutely vintage, this one also loves to show off plenty of modern flair. It starts with an upgrade to a bold red paint later in life. The bumpers and the 1954's distinct front end were included in this application to give the pickup a memorable appearance. Plus, the lowered suspension gives a sporty look that complements the upgraded Ridler alloys with a 18/20 inch front/rear aggressive stance. But while all of this is quite modern, it still has the right traditional details, like nice real lumber in the truck bed.
Inside is a sharp-looking interior with plenty of comfort added in, too. It starts with the bench seat that was borrowed from a more modern Chevy truck. This is covered in a supple leather, and any time there isn't a third person in the cab, the fold-down armrest means you get bucket-like individual comfort. Plus, there are nice details, like the black carpeting, soft dash pad, and nice rubber seals. And the desirable five-window cab lets in plenty of extra light. It's easy to get comfortable in this one with driver-oriented features, like the tall Lokar shifter, auxiliary gauge trio, and a Grant GT sports steering wheel on a tilt column. And cold-blowing R134a air conditioning makes this a classic that you can even cruise in the summer, too.
The V8 looks fresh in the engine bay because it really is. It's a Jasper crate 350 cubic-inch motor that was installed about 550 miles ago, and we even have the receipt to prove it! This has nice upgrades like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, electric choke, HEI ignition, and a sweet-sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust. The motor fires right up, like a fresh package should. And since a Jasper TH350 three-speed automatic transmission was installed around the same time as the motor, it's a smooth-running total package. There's also an updated Mustang II-style independent front suspension, power steering, grippy modern tires, and power brakes w/discs up front. So yes, this classic Chevy feels pretty nice on the road.
Complete with build receipts, this is the custom truck that was made for you to enjoy to the fullest. Call today!!!
