Car description |
---|
True numbers matching car. The first two pictures are when I first purchased it in 2018 with the intention of performing a full restoration. The body has never been hit. The paint is original factory Lacquer(never painted) You can strip it with a razor blade easily. The car is a true 350hp 4 speed car and is loaded with a/c, pwr windows, pwr steering and tilt tele wheelI have documentation that the motor was rebuilt by a well know corvette and hot rod shop and has sat in a barn since at least 2006. I started to disassemble the car a year ago and had the original radiator redone by the best classic radiator shop in Bowdoin Maine. the gas tank, lines, exhaust, brakes rear bumpers and interior have all been removed. Frame appears good just a bit of scale from sitting. I have new complete exhaust, brake and gas lines, new ac compressor, that will go with the car, including $600 remanufactured original radiator. Motor was started and run last year before i started disassembly. Looks bad but ran good, has just been sittingWill need carpet. Interior is stored above my garage. Passenger door sheet metal is a bit soft so I purchased a good door that will also go with the car.I bought this because it was a so original and itn had every option. It is the car you want to restore, not some stripped basic one. there are so many so called restored and shiny cars you do not know what is under the paint. You can start with a nice original no hit car and make it what you want. Motor turns freely but will need to be taken out and detailed. I installed a new clutch/pressure plate, throw out bearing when I first bought car.I am hitting 60 years old this summer, lost some good close friends lately and realize I will never finish all my projects and want to focus on my 65 Mustang Fastback resto mod. so I can go to some shows and travel RT 66 next summer. I love this car but reality has set in.
I don't want to talk to so called corvette experts or answer questions for those who are not serious. Ask your spouse first! Make sure you have the money. Be real and I willhelp you all I can.
Bid with confidence as I am an honest seller. Car will be sold with a bill of sale as Maine does not issue titles for 1994 and older. You can get a title as I have the previous owners registration.
