The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS is the first year for the car that launched this performance icon. And this one really recognizes that correctly. It has a correct full blue presentation for a terrific vintage appearance and that meets an upgraded V8 and four-on-the-floor for a proper American muscle linage.
The factory-correct Marina Blue is a great color because it brightly announces that this coupe has arrived. And you'll love the detail work with painted white bumblebee stripe up front, the straight body panels, and the D80 rear spoiler. This Camaro was restored with care, and there have only been a few years since completion, and so you get an all-around nice look. The bumpers shine brightly from a proper investment, and the Rally Sport's hallmark hidden headlight doors operate smoothly. Plus, they made some subtle upgrades that add to this car's speedy image. For example, you have the classic Rally wheel package, but in the larger 15-inch form. And that cowl hood is borrowed from some of the other mean 1st gen Camaros.
The sea of blue continues inside to complete the factory-correct color combo. You can tell more of the restoration budget was spent wisely with a fresh feeling in places like the seats and carpeting. The details are even nice like the proper trunk mat a newer weatherstripping. This was built with the driver in mind, and that's why you have great vintage performance features, like bucket seats, a center console, and Chevy's classic three-spoke sports steering wheel. These are joined by the right upgrades, like the auxiliary gauge trio and a Bosch tach centrally-mounted on the steering column. And that last one goes particularly well with the Hurst shifter.
The shining small block under the hood looks like it's radiating with power... and that's because it is! This 350 cubic-inch V8 was rebuilt during the restoration with performance components, including aluminum heads, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, MSD ignition, and Hedman shorty headers that feed the Flowmaster H-pipe dual exhaust. It's a quick-revving power package that is nicely handled by a stout Muncie M22 close-ratio four-speed manual transmission. The muscle get to the pavement through a strong and stable Yukon Positraction rear end. Add in power brakes with discs up front and wide BF Goodrich T/As, and this is a well-done speedy Camaro.
This an ultra-desirable real-deal Rally Sport Camaro coupe that has been done for beauty and power. We even have the receipts to prove the quality work that has gone into it. It's time to have some fun and turn some heads. Call today!!!
