I have 2 You Tube Videos of the car . https://youtu.be/kEH_Imu5YCM and https://youtu.be/aX5PTRQLgik . Fun in the sun . Let your hair blow in the wind with the T-Tops off ! Looking for a cheap car to restore for car shows or drive it like it is . You can have fun with this now because it is a driver and it is registered and driven often . Unlike project cars that have been sitting for years . This is a 1983 Z-28 Camaro . The Z28 engine 5.0 L L69 4 bbl 190 hp High-Output (HO) V8. This engine was only available with a manual transmission in 1983. Due to its late introduction, 3,223 L69 V8s were sold for the 1983 model year. The Odometer is 5 digit, so not sure of actual mileag, could be 122,000 or 222,000 . Also we have had for a year so unknown when or if the engine has been rebuil, but runs fine . My son bought it in Oregon and drove it 60 miles one way to work everyday for 9 months till he moved back to Las Vegas with me . Ye, you can buy a 4 banger now with more horsepowe, but it doesn't have the cool style that these had and collectors are starting to buy these and restore and selling for $30,000 to $60,000 depending on how much they put into the details .This is a 37 year old ca, so it is not a brand new ca, so don't expect it to be one . It is the original motor and transmission . It is a 5 Speed Manual with a Hurst Shifte, it is NOT an Automati, so you need to know how to drive a Stick or Manual Transmission . It is not Fuel Injecte, it is a 4 Barrel Carburetor . It has no Air Conditioning unless you count the T-Tops off and the windows down which is fun and nice feeling . It has vinyl seats in very good condition with only a couple small tears in drivers seat which is normal for an old car like thi, the other seats have no tears . It has a Kenwood stereo with Auxiliary for you to plug in your iPhone or Android .The engine hasn't been modde, but does have nice exhaust . It has original rims with all 4 center caps . It has a brand new Alternator replaced a month ago with new belt and new Battery . The Valve Cover Gaskets have also been replaced about 2 months ago . Also comes with one extra T-Top .It is Not a Rebuilt Titl, it is a clean title unlike so many older cars these days . Also the price is very reasonable ! On Craigslist right now someone is selling a rolling chassis for $5,000 that means No Moto, No Transmission and probably needs a Wiring Harness and whatever else . Other 3rd Generation Camaros selling for much more . S, the starting bid is low for a vehicle like this in running condition and will surely go up in value as many 80's cars are now .
