Car description |
---|
I am listing an extra clean and rust free 1938 Chevy 2 doorSedan. I bought this car a few years ago with the intension of building a modern daystreetrod, but the car is too nice and original to cut up. The car was restored a few years ago,a completeinterior, rebuilt motor a beautiful body and paint work, the recoveredseats and door panels were covered with clearplastic and still remain today. The car was kept inside and driven sparingly since restoration, the finish still looks great This was a rust free car before restoration. The car was restored back to original. The car drives, steers and stops great. The motor starts and runs perfect, no over heating issues. All the gauges work correct including the gas gauge, the horn works, all the lights are working. the windows go down and up easy, the doors close easy with no sagging hinges. The ignition key locks the doors, the trunk locks s with the original key. The charging system is 6 volt with a new battery. The rubberon the running boards are like new with no weather cracks. The car comes with a new front floor mat as pictured, the matmay, or may not be installed by the end of the auction. Theoriginalengine crank andlugwrench along with the spare tire are in place. The bumpers and grilleare near perfect, the car has the original banjo steering wheel and radio, not sure if the radio works. This is a very clean, straightand tight old car that deserves a good home. The tireshave like new tread, but they are oldand may not be road worthy. The car will be sold to the highest bidder, or make a reasonable offer. The car is being sold as is where is.
Thanks for your time looking the old car over, remember to ask any and all your questions while the auction is live.
