This truck has the optional Heavy 10 Leaf Spring Suspension. Rear axle ratio 3.9:1. Stopping power comes from 11 inch hydraulic drums on all four wheels. The frame features a ladder type constuction with 4 cross members and channel side rails. The steering gear is a recirculating ball type. Like all postwar pick-up trucks, amenities are few. Standard equipment on the 1954 Chevy pick-ups was an anmeter, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, speedometer, cowl ventilator controls, locking glove box and ashtray. Current owner has owned since 2015.
