Chevrolet Camaro . For sale is my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Couple. It was a Washington State high desert car with zero rust. It is stunning in Black with a red interior. Originally this was a 327 4 speed car with a 12-bolt posi rear. I took the car down to bare metal and had my body guy (50 years experience) lay down a super black basecoat/clear coat paint job at the end. I color-sanded the paint down to 3,000 grit and buffed it out. I retired a few years ago and build a car every year or so. Last year I built this one but held onto it due to family travel in the Fall and not wanting to sell it in the snow. Now is the time….this car only has 100 miles on it since the nut and bolt restoration ended. Clean Montana title. The car has a sweet 1997 LS1 from a Corvette (345 HP plus Doug’s headers that free up another 35 HP or so according to HotRod magazine tests). The engine was in a heated shop after the Vette was wrecked at about 32,000 miles. Engine is like new inside…I checked the main and rod bearings when I swapped out the oil pan for a new Holley pan. The engine is tight and will last at least another 200K. Starts first turn of the switch and idles like a new car. I put LS7 coil covers on to dress it up a bit. All the suspension is basically new: new poly bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, stabilizer bushings, new body bushings, new QA1 Coilovers on the front and 2 inch lowering leaf springs in the rear from Summit, with new shocks. I had the 12-bolt posi rear professionally rebuilt adding new 3.73 gears and a new Eaton Posi unit. I installed the new axle bearings and seals. The engine is coupled to a new Tremec TKO 600 5 speed transmission with a Hurst Blackjack Shifter and a Hurst handle and ball. I installed a new McLeod billet flywheel and LUK clutch, using stock Camaro linkage with an adapter to align it all. Car has a stock Camaro Console (which hides the front Electric Life Power Front Window switches). Most of the glass is new or very good original. The car has a new 28-Circuit Painless Harness attached to a new Engine Computer (ECM). Car features a new Vintage Air digital Sure-Fit system that blows ice cold. I installed a new Aluminum Radiator with dual fans controlled by the engine computer and A/C system through a Trinary switch. Engine never gets hot though I have driven/idled in 90 degree weather. Interior is all new (except original kick panels). Resto Sound stereo with Kenwood rear speakers, Classic Instruments Gauge and Tach for an old-school look. Seats have all new foam and covers professionally installed. I installed 3-point seat belts for safety. New carpets, floor mats, sun visors, door panels, interior and exterior door handles, and headliner. Also installed a new Ididit tilt column with a Corvette steering wheel, new dash pad, new mirrors, all new switches, new 2 speed wipers/washers motors (washer is not hooked up just because it was getting crowded in there). Car has power steering and Right-Stuff 4-wheel disc brakes, new BFG Redlines and original Camaro Rally Wheels with new steel caps and trim rings. Car sits perfectly.I used a CPP LS Conversion kit that included the ceramic headers and the in-tank “Tanks†fuel system. I did switch the throttle body over to drive by cable and used a Lokar gas pedal and cable. I smoothed the firewall using a Detroit Speed & Engineering kit I welded in. Exhaust system is 2 ½ inch Trush with nice sounding turbo mufflers. Driveshaft was shortened to accommodate the Tremec, balanced, and fitted with new U-joints. The Core Support and K-Member frame are powder-coated satin black. I scraped the undercoating off the solid floors and primed and painted the under-carriage while I had the body on the rotisserie. The car is solid steel without filler or repairs. This 67 has all new bumpers, grille, lenses, repainted trunk (spatter), tail light bezels, all new Sof-Seal weatherstrip, and all new window fuzzies, etc. No expense was spared, it’s a beautiful car that starts every time and runs like a dream. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some parts, but you can see it’s a beautiful car. I’d keep it, but I found my dream car, a 61 Bubbletop and am resto-modding that. Car is located in Florence, Montana, about 20 miles from Missoula and I-90, the major East-West Interstate. I can help load the car and can also store it through August if needed. Please, serious buyers only. Not interested in trades and I don’t need help selling this Camaro. You could not build this car for the Reserve amount….please feel free to contact me via eBay if you are a serious buyer. $250 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of successful bid. I have been selling on eBay since it began and maintain a 100% positive feedback score. I've included a few pics of other cars I've restored and sold to show the quality I maintain. Thanks!
