This early factory 1955 Cameo was one of the first truly special editions in the Chevy pickup line. This truck started life as a V-8 model as the small block engine had its first introduction in 1955. A three speed manual transmission on the column was a standard feature. With the big panoramic rear window visibility out the back was improved. Special features on this pickup were the fiberglass sides to the box, making for smooth straight lines down the side of the truck. Special chrome accents on the front box corner let's you know this is something special. The tailgate with hidden latches made for a smoother look and the big Chevy bow tie on the tailgate was a unique touch. Factory custom visor and spotlight were also added. The Bombay Ivory paint scheme with red accents give this truck a classic look that'll turn heads. Wide whitewall tires with full hubcaps and outstanding chrome and brightwork completes the overall appearance. This 1955 Chevrolet Cameo is a rare pickup waiting for a new owner!
