GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible or your consideration. This stylish piece of American muscle history is rear-wheel drive and powered by a small block 350 V8 with recently replaced TH400 automatic transmission.
The exterior is dressed in the original Steel Blue paint, an option that was only offered for three months in 1975. The front and rear bumpers have been replaced and are in great shape, while many C3 corvettes have cracked and damaged bumpers. The original soft top, with replacement window, comes with the car, but the selling owner purchased a correctly dated vinyl auxiliary hardtop. Also featured on this example are the original dealer-installed floor mats and six-hole luggage rack.
Within the past three years, this '75 Corvette has received a lot of maintenance to keep it in great running condition. The carburetor has been tuned to factory specifications, the power steering pump and hoses have been replaced, and all fluids have been flushed and refilled. There are many other things such as a replaced heater core, and radiator. Over the past three years, the selling owner has replaced the oil every year which is a testament to the care this example has received from its previous owner.
While these C3 corvettes are collectible and desirable, they remain very simple and easy to work on and easy to obtain parts for. This is a great entry-level muscle car that is sure to please in performance and looks. If you are looking for an affordable American muscle car that will hold its value while you drive it around then look no further. We took this car for a road test and enjoyed doing so, it handled well and responded as it should. This is a car that you can tinker on and enjoy doing so without breaking your wallet.
