1975 GMC K1500 Short Bed 4x4. PSPB 4 spd. 129k real AZ miles.

Bought new 11/8/74 at Stallings Motors in Globe AZ

Second owner in Mesa Az bought 7/16/1975 with 11,965 miles

I bought 4/2/2019 from this second owner. Mileage reads 129000+ actual miles. Had sat in second owners carport and not moved since right after new tires in February 2004. When I bought, all 4 new BFG Ta's were dry rotted. Steering wheel was near melted goo, original rubber floor matt about the same. All history and service records from second owner go with truck.

Straight rust free (one pinhole on rear of RF fender where tree leaves gather in inner fender). LRear of shortbed has some bondo where drunk hit truck in 2nd owners driveway in 1980. All original GM metal. Rockers and floors are AZ clean (spotless). Bed is spotless as second owner had a bedliner in it from day one. Clean straight AZ frame and drivetrain. 203 appears to have been out for re seal? at some point.

Second owner was/is a car guy. He installed 4 inch lift in 78. In 1991 he had an extra 454 LS motor from a Chevelle and he put it in truck.... Way to much motor. 4-5 months later he built the 454 that is in the truck now. Runs on regular gas. And it runs. From his log book of what he did to this truck this motor may have 10k on it. Runs great, Sounds great and loves gas.

When I bought I pulled gas tanks, all lines, carb and rebuilt carb, new fuel lines and fuel pump, battery. Fired up first time. Adjusted valves and tuned up. Runs right down the road awesome.

New or rebuilt since last year:

Carpet kit with dynamat underneath whole cab, Door panels. Door rubber and felt/rollers etc. All door cranks cleaned and oiled, Seat reupholstered. New rubber under hood, heater hoses etc rad hose.

Urethane dash, Repo rear bumper and brackets/light box, New fuel tank and sending unit.New fuel guage.New fuel pump.

Rebuilt carb/ adjust valves and reset timing. New 33x 12.50 x 15 BFG Mud TA's on fresh powdercoated 15 x 8 rallys/trim rings/caps.

Original owners manual and all paperwork from dealer in glovebox. Faded dark blue is one and only repaint from approx 1980? Was a skyline blue truck originally. No trim truck as well.

Only thing not working is Fuel Guage. Has short from tank to printed circuit and I just havent gotten to it. And Speedo is noisey.

This is a nice truck, put vintage air and paint on it and you have a 25k truck. You cant buy a project and then do all that project will need done for what my reserve is. This one has no serious sheet metal work needed. You could scuff this and squirt it if you really wanted to go cheap.
