INTERIOR;ORIGINAL INTERIOR VERY VERY PRESENTABLE AND GREAT SHAPE FOR AGE!ORIGINAL DOOR PANELS VERY NICEORIGINAL ROSEWOOD STEERING WHEEL (MINT CONDITION BEST I'VE EVER SEEN!)FACTORY TACH & GAUGES WITH CONSOLEALL INTERIOR LIGHTS WORKSPEEDOMETER HAS QUIT WORKING SOMETIME OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHSCLOCK SOMETIMES WORKS AND SOMETIMES DOESN'THEADLINER IS COMING APART AT THE SEEMS IN A FEW PLACES
PAINT;THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR! IT IS VERY PRESENTABLE THOUGH GOOD DRIVER QUALITY PAINT!ONE TIME REPAINT APPROX 25+ YEARS AGO. ( THE PAINT ON INSIDE OF TRUNK AND JAMS IS ORIGINAL) THE PAINT IS WHEATHERED AN WORN IN PLACES. HAS WHAT I'D CALL A GOOD "SURVIVOR LOOK" WHEN YA SEE THIS CAR GOING BY UP THE ROAD AND PARKED EVEN AS CLOSE AS 10 FOOT AWAY IT HAS THE WOW FACTOR!!! UPCLOSE INSPECTIONS SHOWS ITS AGE. CHIPPED WORN ETC. I'D RATE THE PAINT A 6 ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10 WITH A 10 BEING PERFECT. THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN CUT AN BUFFED. A CUT AND BUFF WOULD BE A TREMENDOUS IMPROVEMENT AND TAKE IT TO A 7 OR 7.5 IF YOU WANT A SHOW CAR IT YOU WILL WANT TO PAINT IT! WOULD I EVER PAINT IT MYSELF PERSONALLY??? NO!!!! IT STILL TURNS HEADS AND GETS PLENTY OF WOWS AND COMPLIMENTS LIKE IT IS! IT IS VERY STRAIGHT AND STILL HAS A HIGH GLOSS SHINE!
THIS CAR DID NOT COME FACTORY WITH THE RALLYSPORT HIDEAWAY HEADLIGHT OPTION!! IT WAS ADDED SOMETIME BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CAR, BUT I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYONE COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT IN MY OPPINION IS THE SHARPEST FRONT END IN HISTORY! THE DETROIT SPEED ELCTRIC KIT WAS USED DURING INSTALL AND THE HEADLIGHTS OPEN/SHUT PERFECTLY!!!
IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND A REAL Z/28 THESE DAYS WITH SO MANY PEOPLE "MAKING THEM" EVEN HARDER TO FIND A REAL BLACK CAR! THIS CAR IS FAR FROM PERFECT BUT THE PRICE REFLECTS THE QUALITY. AT THE END OF THE DAY IT IS REAL AND IS STILL A CAR YOU'LL BE PROUD TO RIDE!!! I WATCHED A REAL BLACK Z RESTORED TO PERFECTION SELL FOR $100,000 PLUS BUYERS FEES AT AN AUCTION IN MARCH.
