Car description

Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 21st year in the classic and muscle car business. Chevrolet's Corvette has been the benchmark, in both styling and performance, against which other cars are judged for an amazing 67 years. And although all Corvettes are special, there are a few exceptional models that will quicken the pulse of even the most jaded aficionado. The 1970-1972 LT-1 Stingrays are some of the best, with one of the sweetest small blocks Chevy ever produced. Our Mille Miglia Red (973) 1971 Corvette Convertible is one of only 1949 LT-1's produced in 1971, and is both more desirable and more powerful than most. This gem is powered by its numbers matching (EC V0819CGV, VD 71S100932, BCN 3970010), 4-bolt main, balanced 350 that's been fortified with CNC ported Air Flow Research aluminum heads with stainless 2.02/1.60 valves, a Crower hydraulic roller cam with .510" lift and CompCams Magnum roller rockers, 5/16" CrMo pushrods, fitted moly rings, and CrMo rod bolts. The correct carburetor (3989021), aluminum intake manifold (3959594), and exhaust manifolds (3872765 L, 3932461 R) are installed on this 410+ hp jewel, while the correct cam (PN 3972178) and heads (3973487) are included. The prodigious power is passed through a HD Centerforce clutch and pressure plate to the numbers matching (71S100932) Muncie 4-speed, then back to the 3.70 Posi (AB) rear end. Additional features and goodies include the correct Saddle leather (420) upholstery, power steering, tilt-telescopic steering column, new carpet, an excellent convertible top, (possibly) original Rally wheels, fresh 225/70R15 BFG Radial T/A's, and a fresh alignment. This little red roadster is tight, solid, fun, fast, and has no problem living up to the legend. Helmet and sunscreen not included!
