Cooke Chevrolet Co. in Lexington . Kentucky. Factory SS equipped with the L 48 engine. matched to the turbo 350 automatic transmission. The car has been professionally restored with attention to detail. The car was repainted to its factory GM paint code 52. Sunflower Yellow (very rare) and the black top was also replaced. The car retains all its original sheet metal. The car features a completely new deluxe interior with original Strato bucket seats. The car has factory power front disk brakes and power steering. The original numbers matching engine has been rebuilt to factory specs (see block stamp suffix code CJD). The original transmission has been rebuilt. The original 12 bolt rear end has been serviced. The factory rear end is set up with a highway gear. The floors and trunk pans are incredible. never been touch. All new factory style exhaust system with correct factory tips. The front and rear suspension is all new. springs. pads. bushing. tie rods. etc. The sub frame was removed. sandblasted and painted to factory specs. A new fuel tank and sending unit was installed. The car retains both the factory two piece front rotors and calipers. All trim and exterior chrome is new. The car is very dependable. just turn the key and go. runs incredible nice!! All lights. blinkers. and the horn works like new. The car has a new set of gauges and a professionally installed stereo system.
