Car description |
---|
1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Coupe with 4-speed transmission. No Reserve! One family owned since new. My friends Grandmother bought the car new in 1966. When she pasted my friend received the car. He drove the car into the 80’s and then stored the car on the family farm until now. The car does not run and has a broken clutch cable. The body has some rust but not bad.The floors look pretty good other than surface rust. There is some bondo in the left rear quarter from an accident early in the cars life. But it is not much. The interior still has the original seat cover on the back seat. The back of the drivers bucket the material is ripped off. This car needs a restoration. This car is sold where is as is. So please email me or call 630-542-0031 with questions before you buy. I have an extra engine and other parts the winner can buy at a veryreasonableprice. A $500.00 deposit via pay pal immediately upon purchase unless other arrangements are made prior to buying.Remainder by bank transfer within 7 days of purchase. Shipping is buyer’s responsibility, but I will help arrange. Remember this is a no reserve auction. If you bid be prepared to pay.
I have described the car to best of my ability, but guarantee nothing on the cars condition. This is a non-running unrestored car for cheap money. Come look at the car or have it inspected if you are uncertain. You are not bidding on first right of refusal. If you look at the car, pay for the car, and go home and change mind there will be no refund.Don’t bid on the car if you think you or anyone in your family might get in the next 7 days and you won’t be able to complete the purchase.
I have had 100% positive feedback, over 15 years, until recently. So let me be clear. If you are a dealer I’m not responsible for you making your profit margin. If you send someone to inspect the car and you buy the car and are not happy don’t blame me.So please make your inspections and ask your questions before you buy. This car is sold where is as is.
Thanks for looking!
