1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 2 Door Hardtop. Condition is Used. I purchased this car from the Modesto area of California almost fourteen years ago August of 2006. It had a 350 crate engine in it with about 5,000 miles on it and a Borg Warner super T10 four speed(Aluminum case) from a 77-78 Z28 Camaro the guy owned. When I first purchased it I put two inch drop spindles with power disk brakes and tubular upper a-arms with built in caster camber, complete new front suspension with KYB shocks and new springs. I converted it to an alternator and put in a new four core radiator. I then added Classic Performance Products. CPP500 power steering system with an I-DIDIT tilt steering column and a reduced size 57 steering wheel. since then I've put less than 500 miles on it.It's just been sitting in my work shop. Since I never intended to sell it, it has been on the back burner while I restored other cars to sell. I'm still working on the last car I'm going to restore(age has a way of catching up to us all). It drives great and the crate 350(I'm pretty sure it's the 290hp) has plenty of power. It has a Holly 670 Street Avenger Carb. It still has its original one piece California bumper and it has the sought after seamless frame. Amazingly even the original door flippers still work perfectly. The car has two small rust spots, one on the bottom of the driver side fender if you look closely you can just barely see it behind the rocker molding., one smaller than a dime on the passenger side door. There is no other rust anywhere on the car not even surface rust. Floor was cut by previous owner for floor shifter(I replaced the shifter with a brand new HURST shifter) . Paint is probably 30 years old. car was originally Onyx Black with India Ivory roof. Door jams show original paint. Car has a clear California Title in my Name. Car is located in Simpsonvill, KY just outside of Louisville. A non refundable $500 deposit is required within 48 hours
