STK 2746 1955 Chevrolet 210
A '55 Chevrolet will carry many folks back in time, and this particular classic Chevy 4-door sedan has been carefully restored and mechanically enhanced. Based on the VIN number this sedan began life as a '210' model (B code) but was re-badged to 'BelAir' status as part of the restoration. (BelAir exterior/interior upgrades were cosmetic.) The body was resprayed (2015) in two-tone Pearl Coral/Black, a popular combination for the '55 BelAir. All chrome/stainless trim is in very good condition and steel wheels mount new wide-white Coker radial tires. A classic 'rocket airplane' hood ornament and factory full wheel covers complete the exterior package. The interior was also completely redone in Coral/Black vinyl w/embossing. (Even the trunk is upholstered.) The custom dash mounts a full set of classic-style Autometer gauges and an AM/FM sound system. Windows are tinted and a Vintage Air system provides cool climate control. Per the VIN, this Chevy was delivered with a six-cylinder engine. However, that 'stove bolt' was replaced with a 283ci V8 that carries a nice rumble. It is fitted with a 4-barrel, 'rams horn' exhaust manifolds and is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The chassis is equipped with power steering, HD front sway bar and 2" drop spindles. Brakes have been upgraded to power disc/drums with dual master cylinder. This 210 'BelAir' sedan has been well built and is a fine driver. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
