Up for sale is a 1964 Impala that needs restoration. Very solid car for its age so this is a great car to do a restoration on. Is there rust? Absolutely, but as you can see most is minor compared to others I have seen. Everything that is white (Like the drivers quarter panel, rocker panel and Trunk Lid etc) was sanded down to the metal and all body filler removed if there were any, so what you see in those pictures is just the bare metal painted with no filler.
I do not see any frame rot, trunk pan is in great shape, the floor pans are also in great shape except a few small holes in the driver’s front pan. The full passenger quarter panel was in the process of getting replaced so it was removed. It comes with a new full Passenger side quarter panel still in the box.
It has a 327 with a 350-turbo transmission in it. It runs but needs the carburetor cleaned, gas tank flushed or a tune-up as it does not want to stay running.SEE VIDEO BELOW...It ran great about 6-8 months ago. I had it on the road for very short trips around town about 1 ½ years ago before we started taking it apart. It has nearly all the trim and or pieces that you see missing in the pictures. So, make sure you can haul the car with the rear window glass, new quarter panel, and all the trim, also I have some parts for a 4-speed conversion if that is your plan. It's been in the same family since 1985. We were in the process of restoring it, but we were forced to move and no longer have the room to work on it.
This car has a clean Alabama registration. Alabama does not issue titles for any vehicle over 35 years old. Please look it up on Google if you have any concerns.https://www.support.revenue.alabama.gov/hc/en-us/articles/115006152487-What-vehicles-are-required-to-be-titled-in-the-State-of-Alabama-
I do however have an old Illinois Title before we moved if you want it.
Any other questions let me know.
