1970 Chevelle SS 454

This is a very nice 70 Chevelle body and interior. The body panels and paint are very nice. The floor pans and trunk are also very nice. The trunk lock broke and I hadn't put another one in yet when I took these pictures but it will have a new one installed. It has the F41 suspension only the rear boxed arms have been switched to a more modern set. It has an early style original GM Cowl Induction hood and big block rag joint. The heater core was also removed and smoothed on the firewall. It's an original 10 10 paint car from Arlington. This car has been used as an amatuer drag car for many years and has always been stored inside. The car has a turbo 400 and a 12 bolt posi rear. It has a newer repop SS dash with tach and gauges. The interior is newer as is the console and shifter. They blew a head gasket at the track running this car and the motor needs to be assembled and put back in the car. The block has been checked and is just back from the machine shop. A disassembled 454 comes with this car. The heads have roller tip rockers. there is an aluminum intake and Holley carb. starter. radiator. power steering pump etc. The headers and exhaust system are also complete.
