This slick 1961 Chevrolet Apache pickup has obviously received a ton of time and investment. It's got the look and features to be a terrific toy hauler (anyone got an Indian motorcycle?) or just steal the show on its own. And with upgrades like a strong V8, five-speed stick shift, and an A/C interior, it's a classic that's quite easy to enjoy on trips near or far.
This truck immediately declares that it's something different the moment it arrives. It has a modern application of tan with maroon accenting that easily fits in with the logo for your Indian motorcycle. But this one doesn't discriminate. After all, anyone can appreciate an investment in a nice glossy clearcoat. And there's extra shine coming from places like the mirror-like bumper and upgraded 16-inch alloys. And while this is stylish, there's also a ton of function. The custom steel bed has fresh stained wood inserts, and when you look inside, there's a rugged flat diamond plate floor with Motorcycle mounts already attached. Plus, there's a proper trailer hitch on the back so you can bring along even more fun.
The exterior colors return inside. In fact, the two-tone is expertly intertwined on the door panels, dash, steering column, and the custom bench seat. This is made to be the kind of vehicle that you can haul your bike to events far away, and so it has a plenty of convenient features, like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, cup holders, Dynamat insulation, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input for your phone. And there's a glowing Dakota Digital gauge package to keep you fully informed on what's going on in the engine bay.
Under the hood is a 350 cubic-inch V8. It's a tidy setup with the block painted black to match the smooth inner fenders and some extra flair from the polished valve covers. Plus, this has proper power with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. There are nice supporting components, like a CPP master cylinder and Champion aluminum radiator w/electric fan. You're in full control with a Borg Warner T5 five-speed manual transmission that includes highway-friendly overdrive. Plus, there's power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and Firestone Steeltex tires to make an all-around good driving package.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, owner's manual, and service manuals. This is the distinct pickup that's great for helping with your other classics or just being attention-grabbing all on its own. So don't miss one cool and versatile pickup, call today!
