In 1967 the cowl tag on the Camaro, located in the engine compartment, listed codes of items the Camaro was born with, from the factory. If you do not see a 4P (Super Sport) or 3L (Rally Sport) on that cowl tag.... it IS NOT A FACTORY SUPER SPORT or FACTORY RALLY SPORT. Do not get fooled into buying a "SS Tribute" Camaro.... a tribute SS is not a real SS. A tribute is store bought SS emblems slapped onto a Camaro Coupe.... I have included a picture of my cowl tag, and a decode sheet of the cowl tag to see it is also a real 4 speed car. Always ask for a picture of the cowl tag on a 1967 for sale....
Please view all the pictures, this is a stunning 1967 Factory Rally Sport/Super Sport Camaro with a 4 speed transmission, with its 12 bolt rear end. Rare optioned factory RPO A67 fold down rear seat, listed on Cowl tag also, extremely rare in an SS. The Camaro is finished in the factory cowl coded RR Bolero Red paint, that is beautiful. Added were 68 code RPO D80 spoiler and RPO ZL2 Cowl Hood. RPO G80 Positraction, and RPO D55 center console with gauge package. Heavy Duty factory suspension as well. Close ratio steering, power brakes, and original deluxe interior!!! Headers and exhaust sing a beautiful rumble. NOM 350 small block that gets up and goes. MSD and HEI ignition. Holley carb and brand new US Radiator, runs cool in 100 degree temps, no issues at all! I have included 3 videos below to view also.
This car flat out runs, as a Super Sport should. Steers and tracks straight. This Camaro is not abused, it is climate controlled garage kept, never driven in the rain, and there is always a crowd at the car shows.License plate frame and front plate are not included. They are going on another car we own.
The Mecum auction is in our town this upcoming weekend, and we will have our RS/SS Camaro at Car Shows next weekend with a for sale sign upon it. We reserve the right to end the auction early if an offer is accepted, either here, on Bay, or locally. I am not a Camaro expert, and have absolutely nothing to hide.
Shipping arrangements and cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will make myself available for your shipper. I have used Garcia's Auto Transport in the past with great service.
A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due immediately after purchasing the car, no exceptions. the deposit is made through my PayPal account.
Final payment is made via a bank wire transfer within 7 days of auction ending, no exceptions. This is safe for you and for me. No cash in person, to many counterfeit scams out there, I have been taken before.
