Car description |

Real Super Sport with #s matching motor, trans, rear, paint and interior. I absolutely love the rare factory colors. In 1967 only the trim tag gives the colors, options and tells if it's an SS. This codes on this original tag matches up to this car spot on. Exceptionally clean, honest car overall.
EXTERIOR: Absolutely gorgeous factory Royal Plum metallic with the white painted on nose stripe. The body is really clean and straight. It fits beautifully- hood, trunk and doors fit square and flush. They shut nice too. There's no bubbles, rust or damage. The metal flake is laid out evenly, the clear coat is polished to a high gloss finish. Jambs are restored. Weatherstrips, window fuzzies and sill plates were replaced. All the chrome trim is a beautiful- 8 out of 10. Has rear spoiler, bumper gaurds, bowtie mirror. 14x7 rally wheels look like new including all the trim. A set of reproduction Goodyear Wide Tread tires really compliment this authentic SS. New windshield. The side glass rolls smooth and fits nice against the top. The power top is crisp white with clear plastic window.
INTERIOR: Factory born with the white deluxe interior that includes the upgraded upholstery and the molded door panels. All the white was replaced at the same time and the color all matches including the boot. Overall very nice 8 out of 10. No damage, no abuse. Nice carpets, factory console is excellent, has original seatbelts. The whole dash area is very nice. Has a factory radio, nothing's cracked, damaged or beat up. Lights all work including in the glove box.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Exceptionally clean and very authentic motor compartment. Has the VIN number matched 350-295 hp motor. The vin stamp pad looks very authentic, not restamped. Has factory broach marks. Codes, casting and dates all line up. Has all the correct components- 4 barrel, manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner and even the heat shields around the spark plugs. The hoses, hose clamps and spring clamp battery cables are all correct. Everything is detailed in the proper finishes. It is very complete- fan shroud, squirters are hooked up, has hood insulation. It features power steering and power brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean. It's been neatly spatter painted. Has rubber mat and tire cover. It also has a rally wheel spare and detailed jack assembly. Jamb and the bottom of the trunk lid are painted slick. Weatherstrip and decal have been replaced. The counterbalance shaker cans are still there.
UNDERSIDE: Very solid and respectful. The floors, the bottom of the quarters, rockers all look like clean original metal. The front end has been rebuilt- new bushings, ball joints, shocks etc. It does have disc brakes in front that also look newer. E-brake cables are hooked up. Bottom of the motor is real clean, it has the canister style oil filter which is correct for 67. Has the VIN number matching 4-speed Muncie trans and has the correct 3.31, 12 bolt rear end. Exhaust system has been replaced with the correct type with a transverse muffler. The fuel tank, sending unit and straps have been replaced. The rear shocks look new. It has the correct traction bar on the passenger side for an SS.
What a great car. Fantastic colors and features. A few times I mentioned condition is 8 out of 10. To be clear I think the car is outstanding. Everything in and out fits nice, not worn, not abused. It also feels good. Stops, steers, accelerates great. Motor has the perfect sound out the tailpipes. Investment grade car.
