1950 GREAT PATINA 3100 5 WINDOW SHORTBED PICKUP REBUILT SIX RUNS & DRIVES! VIDEO

1950 Chevrolet Short Bed 3100 5 Window Pickup Truck! Rebuilt Inline Six! Less than 300 miles on the Motor! Great Patina! Runs & Drives! 70+ PICS & VIDEO! I found this Chevy not far from where I live. It was located on some old farm land. tucked inside an old Barn. The Farmer who owned it was by far one of the most polite and most decent human beings I have ever met. He and his Grandson had the intentions of fixing her up but unfortunately. the family business put this project on the back burner. They did have the motor completely rebuilt which is in excellent working order. It has less than 300 miles on it. It runs out exceptionally well. The three speed on the column shifts very well. It does not catch up nor grind through gears. Upon purchasing it. I had the brake booster rebuilt. As of right now. she does run and drive but to make her truly roadworthy. she is going to need a day of TLC. Included with the Pickup is a good gas tank. a good radiator. new muffler. and two new pieces of glass. The original radiator has some leaks and the gas tank does need replaced with the new one that I have. I have everything to make her roadworthy. I just don't have the time. I do have video which I shot this last week (3/12/2015) which shows that it does run. drive. steer. and stop. The body of the Truck has some beautiful Patina to it. The door pockets. hood. areas around the glass. internal bed walls. frame. it is all solid. She does have some rust in the front fenders as well as in the drivers side floor. running boards. and within the bottom sides of the doors. I believe these areas could easily be patched. I don't think I would go to the extent of replacing them. The wood bed within the Truck is original but is mostly deteriorating by the day. It will need redone. All of the back glass is in good shape. The passenger side section of the windshield is cracked as is the drivers side door glass. I do have new glass that goes with the Pickup. If you're looking for a fun toy that you can enjoy now. this is it. These Five Windows are getting harder to find. especially ones that are not consumed with rust let alone ones that run and drive. I do have this Chevy for sale locally and I would like to reserve the right to end the auction early should it sell prior to the auction ending.
