Details:
This is a custom-built show car that has been completely built with only the best parts from top to bottom. This is a high-dollar multiyear build. There is a lot of custom body work and sheet metal work that would be tough to duplicate. There are less than 15 miles on the build (which was completed in 2014/2015).
Chevrolet ZZ427 big block engine, 480hp/ 490 lb-ft. Four-bolt mains, all forged rotating assembly, aluminum heads. Based off of the legendary L88 427. The exhaust features ceramic coated headers and Magnaflow mufflers. The transmission is a 700r4 with a Dacco stall converter and Hayden Trans Cooler. The engine compartment features custom handmade firewall, inner fenders and air cleaner. Full polished serpentine setup with polished pulleys, alternator, etc. Vintage AC and heat. AutoRad radiator and core support, AC condenser, dual Maradyne fans and shroud.
Full suspension front and rear by Scott's Hotrods n Customs out of Oxnard, CA. The front suspension features IFS, drop spindles, polyurethane bushings, coil-overs and polished A-arms. The rear suspension features a Scotts 4-bar rear suspensions with a Ford 9†rear end. The rear end gears are Currey Moser combo 3.50 gears. The brakes are Wilwood 4-piston disc brakes front and rear featuring cross drilled rotors and Wilwood master cylinder. The traditional Camaro subframe is welding together forming a true chassis.
The wheels are 18x8 front/ 20x10.5 back Budnik Pivot polished wheels with knock offs. The tires are Nitto Invo. The fronts are size 225/40-18 and the rears are 315/35-20.
The interior is truly a work of art. The only stock remaining part from a 69 Camaro is the glovebox. The center console runs the length of the interior to the rear of the car. This is handmade from sheet metal. The rear backseat panel is fully custom made from sheet metal. The full custom Ferrari Connolly leather interior was built by Ronnie Frederic out of Gonzales, LA. The leather interior color is Tangier with stitching throughout the dash, seats, armrest, etc. The gauge cluster is a custom made with Dakota VHX gauges with illuminating lighting similar to the Lexus dash lighting. The Ididit steering column is polished with the ignition switch on the column. The steering wheel is a polished Budnik Velocity wheel. Full Painless Wiring harness, Lokar shifter. Power windows on all four windows. The power windows are by Nu-Relics Power Windows. Much of the polished trim and emblems inside the interior are handmade. The front and rear seats are custom buckets. The seating position in the front is modified to provide more head and leg room. A similarly done custom interior to this level would be in excess of $50k.
The stereo is a full custom build featuring a Kenwood DNX890HD head unit which features Navigation, DVD player, Bluetooth and backup camera. The Focal speakers are powered by a Precision Power 4 channel amplifier.
The body features many custom touches such as tucked front and rear bumper, smoothed drip rails, built in rear spoiler, modified and shortened front spoiler, smoothed top vent grills. The body is finished in PPG paint Black base coat/ clear coat. The rear is mini-tubbed but still has seating for four. All mounting hardware and fasteners are polished stainless steel. The glass is slightly tinted. The paint and body on this car are absolutely beautiful and look stunning.
There's a full photo album documenting the build process. It shows all of the handmade metal work, interior work, suspension work, etc. To recreate a build to this level would very expensive and time consuming. This was a multiyear build. Overall, this is a stunning build that will hold its own on any show field. The one, and only, event this car was entered into it won a 1st place award. This was at the World of Wheels show in the Mercedes Benz Superdome in 2015. The custom touches through the car make this a truly one of a kind 69 Camaro. It is a work of art from top to bottom. Selling from a private collection.
