There has been plenty invested in restoring this 1953 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window pickup to make this look like a pure vintage machine. Of course, the sharp V8 upgrade under the hood offers more power than your nostalgia ever had. So dig into the details on a very cool and vintage total build.
There's only about 2,000 miles on this truck since its full restoration, and so it almost looks like today is 1953 and you just picked it up from the Chevy dealer last week. The dark green paint has a deep gloss, and it's nicely contrasted by the crisp white on the bumpers and iconic grille. The body panels are crisp like this one hasn't gone to work yet. Even the painted wood in the truck bed look fresh. You'll also love the details, like the running boards, painted steel wheels with factory hub caps, and even the bed-mounted spare.
The desirable five-window cab lets even more light inside. It really highlights the classic look where the exterior green returns on the dash and door panels. Now it's joined by a tasteful tan on the bench seat and door inserts. You have all the right classic elements, like the grippy three-spoke steering wheel, tall gearstick, and factory gauges. But there are also some well-integrated upgrades. You have handy seatbelts, and the factory-style radio is actually an AM/FM unit for upgraded driving tunes.
Under the hood is a crisp package that reminds you again how fresh this build is. And of course, the 350 cubic-inch V8 is something far larger than what Chevy could offer you in '53. They try to disguise it nicely with the classic black air topper. But underneath are upgrades liKe a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Hooker shorty headers. Power steering w/discs up front make driving easy, but this one also never wants to lose that vintage truck feeling. The four-speed manual transmission still has the classic ratios, and the fresh undercarriage shows a factory-style suspension. So the combination of the right original elements and the right upgrades delivers a total package that offers the ideal nostalgia feeling where it makes it easier to love a bygone era.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a very cool truck that takes the time to be a true classic. And at the same time, it delivers all the right pieces so you can truly enjoy vintage motoring. Call now!
