What Chevrolet might have made if they added an SS option to the Corvair. This is a fresh build, with little that is not rebuilt or new. Fresh urethane paint with striping on a straight body, ground effects, spoiler, new tires (205 55 R15) and wheels. New bucket seat interior, with guage package and Retro Sound am/fm/bluetooth stereo. Redone trunk, with Wilwood dual circuit master cylinder. Completely rebuilt brakes, rebuilt front suspension, new shocks all around. Fresh 164" (2.7L) engine with 270 cam, .040 over cylinders, big valve heads with new refurbishment, 38/38 weber type carb on central manifold, Clark's valve covers, Otto oil pan. Ceracoated extractor style exhaust. Motor built professionally by Casa de Corvar. Rebuilt alternator, new battery. 4 speed trans with new pressure plate and disc.
As I mentioned, this is a fresh build, As such, there are some bugs left to work out- clutch and throttle linkage adjustment, fine tuning the motor, brake adjustment. The paint is new and presents very well, but could use some additional buffing (sand scratches here and there) . That said, this is a damn good looking car, and if you put some elbow grease in will make you proud. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
