1972 CHEVY C10 CHEYENNE SUPER LONGBED PICKUP TRUCK

RESTORATION PROJECT

Selling a 1972 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super longbed project. This truck is an all original 1 owner truck that was last registered in 1980. This truck has sat on a farm for 40 years. It does not run and I have not tried to start it or see if it is locked up. It has it's original Hawaiian blue paint and all numbers matching drive train with 103,455 miles on it. It has a 350 engine, turbo 350 transmission, and a positraction rear. This is a Cheyenne Super so you know it is top of the line for 1972. Power steering, power brakes, dealer installed air conditioning, factory installed AM radio, wood grain door panels and dash panels, and houndstooth bench seat. The SPID sheet is still intact on the glove box with all the options. This is a Canadian built C10 so you can prove its authenticity with documents from GM of Canada. It will need an extensive restoration. It has rust in every panel including fenders, doors, rocker panels, cab corners, bed sides, bed floor, and bed bulkhead. All four cab mounts are rotted away. It's a perfect candidate for a full floor from LMC with cab mounts already installed. The roof inside the cab is just starting to rust along the windshield seal under the sun visors. Radiator support and inner fenders are also rusted. The frame has rust scale but is solid overall. The firewall is nice and solid. This is a great truck to restore and do a shortbed conversion on. Shortbed Cheyenne Supers are demanding good money right now. The tailgate was in rough shape so I scrapped it. You will need to replace the tailgate. I have all the trim for the truck not shown in the pics including the tailgate band. Truck is very complete but also very rusty. Please do your research on these trucks and ask any questions you may have before bidding. Truck has clean NJ title. Asking $2500 or b/o. Local pickup or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will not hold vehicle for more than a week or so. Winning bidder must pick up vehicle with a rollback or trailer with a winch. Vehicle does not run.
