Car description

Chevrolet C-10 . Condition is Used. This auction is for a long wheel base 1976 Silverado Truck. The motor is correct for the truck based upon the number stampings on the block. I think the transmission is also the original 350 trans. The transmission is weak and could stand to be gone through and rebuilt.
We have replaced the seat cover with a replacement cover purchased from LMC Truck. The carpet and 2-piece edge trim moldings have also been replaced (LMC Truck also). We replaced the pockets on the door because the original material was brittle and dried and didn't match the other new pieces we were replacing on the interior.
The previous owner had put on new brake pads, rotors and brake lines when we purchased the truck 3 years ago. Recently we noticed that the brakes were spongy so we pulled the master cylinder and the brake booster and both units had failed probably due to age and were the originals. A new brake booster and master cylinder was ordered and installed on the truck and we bled the brakes.
There is a rust hole in the passenger side fender behind the wheel open molding and there is another visible rust hole behind the wheel opening that is visible behind the tire in the corner near the front. When I was putting the new carpet in, I noted that there is a rusted through crease next to the area between the rocker molding where the pinch weld holds the body weatherstrip and the floor pan of the cab
I was cleaning out the leaves in the bed and noticed that there were 2 small (3/8") drain holes in the corner of the bed near the cab (to drain water out of the bed). There are no rusted through areas in the bed. Most of the original seam sealer between the sides and the wheel wells is still in place.
