We know you were instantly attracted to this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Tribute because it has the mean midnight attitude you want on a big block muscle car. But as you dig deeper, you're also going to find a ton of quality upgrades, too. This includes four-wheel disc brakes, an overdrive transmission, and a comfy A/C interior.
This one completed its restoration not too long ago, and you can really tell that by the freshness and quality in the whole build. It starts with the black paint. You'll not only love it because it's deep, dark, and intimidating, but also it has a hard shine like it was forged from onyx. The hood has a unique stripe that warps around the cowl induction hood, and you really can see it so well thanks to the red pinstripe that outlines it all. Chrome bumpers, clear headlights, and full window trim add some brightness to this midnight machine. Plus, the 20-inch black Intro wheels with shining trim rings really ties this whole package together.
That red pinstripe on the exterior was a small preview of the full red interior. And this vibrant presentation really looks like hot lava when viewed against the black exterior. The interior is made to be comfortable, that's why you have nice features like a modern AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth, new plush carpeting, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. Best of all, it was restored to be a driver's machine. You get bucket seats, a well-placed floor shifter, wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, power steering, and the gauges are a full upgraded Classic Instruments package.
Under the hood is a well-done 454 cubic-inch V8. It looks great with bright valve covers, a bold block, and an air topper with the proper gasket to seal this to the fresh air cowl hood. And this big block was built for power. It includes an upgraded cam, Merlin heads, Weiand intake, and topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. The headers add even more power while contributing to the rumble of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. The transmission has been upgraded to a 700R4 four-speed unit. It's stout enough to handle the enhanced power while also delivering overdrive comfort. As you look at the undercarriage photos, you're going to see fresh components, right down to the bushings. Plus, there are nice upgrades, like the boxed rear trailing arms with sway bar. And the upgrade to Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel power disc brakes and the grip of modern sport tires rive you firm control.
This build is dark, fresh, powerful, and absolutely awesome. You know you need this in your garage, so call today!
