Car description |

1982 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Indy 500 Pace Car. This is a 4-speed manual transmission car, which is pretty rare. I bought this car several years ago as a fun weekend car. Now I have two kids in college, and it's time to find a new home. I've kept it in an enclosed and covered auto storage facility since I've owned it.
The car runs and drives great for a an older car, and is a head turner; it still gets a thumbs up and comments from others. The brakes were just checked over and work well. I put a new A/C compressor on it and converted to new R-134a.
The 4-speed transmission and clutch shift smoothly - tires have good tread life. The T-tops fit well, are clear, and have no leaks. The T-top covers are in the trunk for stowing when driving.
The radio is installed, but not working. All lights, turn signals and brake lights are working, but high beams and tachometer are not working. There is one small spot of rust by the T-tops that is shown in the photos as well as a small tear in the driver's seat, also shown in the photos.
Hagerty shows values of these vehicles increasing in the past several years. I'm starting the bidding at a modest level to sell the car, but please only bid if you are serious about purchasing the car. Starting bid is the only reserve. If there are other questions, let me know.
I've tried to be detailed and thorough with my description, but the car is being sold as is. Transportation is the buyer's responsibility, but I'm happy to work with your transit vendor.
