GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this this iconic 1969 Chevy Malibu! This muscle Malibu comes in a deep blue paint job complemented by white racing stripes and a clean black interior. Powering the Malibu is a massive 463 cubic inch V8 motor mated to a stout turbo 400 automatic transmission. Upgrades to the motor include an automatic choke, Edelbrock carburetor, pro-comp intake, BBC Stage 2 cam and supporting mods. Additional upgrades include power steering, power brakes, functional heat and more. A full restoration is believed to have been completed on the vehicle including the powertrain approximately 6 years ago based on its condition. The Malibu comes to us from a private automotive collection and as such has always been properly stored and maintained. So, if you're looking to get behind the wheel of a American muscle car sure to impress, this is the Malibu for you! Please call or email us for more information.
Malibus and all other Chevelles were completely restyled for 1968 with semi-fastback rooflines on two-door hardtops and wheelbases split to 112 inches on two-door models and 116 for four-door sedans and station wagons. One year later in1969 Malibus and other Chevelles saw new grilles and rear decks with revised taillights. Instrument panels were also revised and front seat headrests were now standard equipment due to federal safety mandate.
