Up for consideration is a 1975 Chevrolet Caprice Convertible that is in showroom condition with only 9483 documented original miles. 1975 was the last year for the Caprice Convertible and this 1975 Chevrolet Caprice Convertible is one extremely stunning well preserved automobile. The total overall appearance of this incredible survivor Caprice Convertible truly dictates the pampered and wonderful care this automobile has had over the years. There is lots of documentation from brand new including the original owners manuals.
Finished in the beautiful dark red metallic with a very brilliant shine with the majority of the paint being original. Over the years the original bumper fillars faded and I had both bumpers removed and the fillars removed to be refinished. The original fillars were professionally refinished with a beautiful color match and show very nicely. The body is very clean, very straight and no rust. The all original white interior with red accents looks like brand newin every way with no wear or fading of any kind. The interior also still retains that new car smell. The original white convertible top also looks like new and works perfectly. The undercarriage is extremely clean, was undercoated when new and a very nice job that has held up very well over the years. The total overall condition reflects that this automobile was storedin a climate controlled environment. Also, there has been no modifications to this automobile of any kind, totally factory original.
The drive train consists of the 350 2BBL V-8 engine complimented with the 3 speed automatic transmission, both perform perfectly with no strange noises or leaks of any kind.
Equipped with all the standard equipment with a host of great options for pleasurable and comfortable driving. All standard equipment and options work perfectly with no issues. The factory air conditioning works perfectly, blows cold and charged with the original R-12 refrigerant.
