Offered by Cars Remember When is this outstanding 1970 Nova SS equipped with a 396 big block Chevy V8, factory A/C, 700R4 automatic, power steering and power brakes. This car runs and drives FANTASTIC. The body is in good shape with straight lines, shiny silver paint, nice black pin stripping and is riding on 15'' Crager wheels to tie it all off. Both doors fit nice and close with ease. The interior is nicely restored with vinyl bucket seats and console. The dash is in excellent condition with original gauges and climate controls. An aftermarket tachometer, retro-radio, and gauges in the center console have been added.
This car is tastefully modified with a 700R4 transmission that is freshly rebuilt. This transmission is a great choice for the 396 as it will hold the power and allow for nice cruising RPMs on the highway. The shifter is done up correctly with an extra gear indication that looks stock. The 396 motor runs strong, has roller rocker arms, headers, dual exhaust, and a hot MSD ignition. R134a converted air conditioning blows cold. The undercarriage is totally restored with lots of new rubber, added rear sway bar and a 12 bolt rear end to transfer the power to the ground.
