1983 Chevrolet Malibu Wagon.Thanks for looking and reading!!!First and foremost, THIS CAR IS NOT A PERFECT SHOW CAR. It is a GREAT driver and project car. 90% of the work to make this car outstanding has been accomplished in the last few years. The only reason it is being sold is due to an ankle and knee injury. Due to upcoming surgery(s) and age, I am not sure when (or if) I will be able to finish and enjoy..With that said, I will add, THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT!!! TIGHT, NO RATTLES, AND THIS CAR IS FAST!!
Body;Stunning blue paint (repainted in last 3 years) and SS Stripes in great condition,only issues are 1 scratch/ding (see pic) in passenger rear door when installing seats, and I'm sure a few rock chips. This car turns heads and gets compliments on how clean it is, everywhere I go, and it will drive anywhere. Drive train; (was assembled when I purchased the vehicle, so unknown for certain), I was told, rebuilt .030 over SBC 350 LT1, KB Hypereutectic pistons, roller cam & valve train (unsure on lift and dur, but its lopey), 1.94/2.02 heads (not sure if stock or aftermarket), single plane Edlebrock manifold, holley (600 cfm?) carb, Aluminum radiator, headers and flow-master exhaust, (not sure on alot, but runs VERY well in all rpm ranges), TH700R overdrive trans (definitely a shift kit at very least), 10 bolt with 4.56:1 gears and a mini-spool, you know the gears are there but with the overdrive trans and tall tires, it runs down the highway smooth as glass at 70 MPH turning 2200 rpm. (FYI; Also due to the gears the speedometer & odometer is VERY inaccurate. Phone GPS comes in handy).INTERIOR; Mostly nice stock original appearance, new black carpet and front bench was replaced with G-Body power split bench, (not perfect but darn nice). The steering column has a wobble to it and needs to have the bearings replaced. The original rear mat is original, (what more can I say) :-) . Tailgate, windows and doors work as they should. Doors have probably had the bushings replaced at one time, as they open and close flawlessly. On a negative note, the AC is all hooked up but does not work, (have not checked charge, but compressor turns), when I fired car up to make video the heater core was leaking so I quickly by-passed it. Suspension;3 year oldsuspension & bushings front and rear. New power steering pump and hoses
Also comes with numerous spare parts that will be of no use to me. I'm sure all will fit into rear of car with ease for shipping. Rear bumper x2 and 1 bumper frame, rear bumper fillers (already painted to match), energy absorbers, original front bench seat, and probably a few other things I'm not thinking of.
