The fuel-injected V8, overdrive transmission, leather-lined A/C interior, and modern street machine look all come together on this 1965 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle Restomod. So dig into all the details, because you can get this highly modified classic for a terrific price.
The '65 Chevelle hardtop is an iconic classic. It took the pillarless hardtop coupe look that we fell in love with in the '50s, and put it on a well-creased body that was pointing the way for the flared fendered muscle cars of the late '60s. And the Root Beer Brown sets the tone correctly for this special Chevelle. It's a more modern color that reflects the upgrades beneath the skin. And the upgraded 17-inch Ridler wheels are a great coordinating color to add some sophistication to the custom appearance.
Sophistication continues to be the buzzword inside. This black interior is quickly distinguished by the supple leather seating borrowed from a modern Cadillac. In fact, this really does offer all the best comforts, including a fold-down armrest for the rear sears, and the front ones power adjust to your ideal position. Plus, there are more great upgrades, like the cup holder center console, key fob alarm, and a retro-style AM/FM digital tuner with iPod input and upgraded powered speakers. There's even cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, so you can roll down all the windows on this hardtop and still stay comfortable even in the summertime. And while this offers plenty of coddling, the Sniper EFI controller also tells you the build invested in power, too.
The engine bay has plenty of nice polished components, but it's the substance within here that you're really going to love. This 350 cubic-inch V8 is a later model Vortec motor. It was rebuilt during the restoration about 30k miles ago. They included an upgraded camshaft, upgraded valvetrain, an Edelbrock intake, and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. Plus, the Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system adds power and usability on demand. And those shorty headers also add power while contributing to the sweet sound of the dual exhaust. This has the right balance of performance and usability. You see that in the 700R4 four-speed transmission. It has a 2k stall for an ideal powerband, and it also delivers overdrive comfort. Add in power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and sway bars front & rear, and you have a fine driver for all occasions.
If you think this is the ideal classic for the Power Tour, you'd be correct. The consignor states he did three of them in this one already without incident! It all goes to the understanding that this is the quality build you've been searching for, and it's available right now for a terrific price. Call today!!!
