Where to start, truck was a Special order on February 06th 1978 from local Chevrolet Dealership GSL.Customer wanted a heavy duty half ton to pull his trailer durning the summer months.So that is exactly what he did, simply checked off the right boxes on ordering guide to get what he wanted.Here we are 42 years later, owner is 92 years of age, camping has been out of the picture for a couple decades.So truck is for sale, first time offered since ordered in 1978.When not in use heated garage kept and not winter driven, hence it current condition.Other than maintenance items, truck is as it left the factory.There are no issues with the Chevy, does not need to be restored it's original and correct.Just to high lite some of the rare options, a true F44 Big 10, LF8 454 High Torque,Z82 12,000 lb Special trailing package, TP2, UY1 & DF2 camper package, X45 Pick up box cap.There are (3) pages of factory options, truck has been documented by Vintage Vehicle Services.General Motors Canada which is bullet proof documentation.This would be a great addition to any collection, a nicely preserved special ordered truck.If you need additional detailed photos of any area of the truck just ask, will get them to you in a timely fashion.Truck was taken out of storage for photos only not winter driven.
