Car description |

Listing this car for my Aunt and Uncle, also listed locally so I am not tied to an eBay sale until the first bid hits here. Once I get my first bid on eBay I will remove the local listing and it will be sold only on eBay. Upon successful winning bid I will share all contact information with you to finalize the sale directly with the owners. The car is in decent condition and has spent a good amount of its time in the garage the last few years. Keep in mind, it is a 30 year old car with 76,000 easy miles on it, they are an older couple. In fact all previous owners were older, I mean what kid can afford $60K plus tax on a sports car in this day and age? It has some paint chips around it and the normal stress cracks here and there but it is worth every penny and will be sold without a reserve, whatever the final bid is here wins it. It is a 30 year old car, the final sale is AS-IS with no existing warranty. Check out my feedback, I have been a 100% seller since 1998 on eBay with 824 positive feedbacks.
Here are some of the things replaced by the picky owner:New rear tiresNew fuel injectorsNew spark plugsNew red leather front seatsNew front and rear custom floor matsFull quart of original red paint...also comes with original window sticker and owners manual
What Chevrolet has to say...The stock first year 1990 ZR-1 goes from 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds and gets to the quarter-mile marker in 13.4 seconds. Speed-shifted, Corvette engineer Jim Ingles-style, it's a few tenths quicker. When it's time to stop, this 3680-lb sports car comes to a halt in 132 feet from 60 mph and 233 feet from 80 mph. Impressive? You bet! Also, better than the top three exotic cars (Ferrari Testarossa, Lamborghini Countach, Porsche Turbo).Considering the car's limited availability (only roughly 4000 sold per year) most early ZR-1's are becoming collector cars, if ever there was a car that begged to be driven, and driven hard, this is it. Unlike some exotics that fuss in traffic and fume in hot weather, the RPO LT5 power-plant runs like any good Detroit V8 should: effortlessly and reliably. In city driving (or while following that ubiquitous diesel truck along a hilly European two-lane), this muscular V8, which develops 300 lb-ft of torque at 1500 rpm, burbles along happily at practically idle speed. So there's no need to do a lot of shifting—or to let your blood pressure soar because you're playing follow-the-leader. Don't worry, be happy, enjoy the environment of your ZR-1, and wait until it's safe to ... PASS!
The car needs to be paid in full before the car leaves the driveway. You will have 7 days from the close of the auction to pay for the car in full. You can send a US Certified Cashiers check for the total amount prior to picking up the car so we can confirm it clears without issue. Once we have confirmed the certified check cleared as expected we can setup a time for you or a shipper of your choice to come and get the car at your cost. I prefer not to take deposits via PayPal because of the additional fees they charge for me to accept my own money.
The car is a numbers matching ZR1 Corvette, never molested, you will never see a deal like this again, in their later age the owners are downsizing and do not need a car that just sits in the garage unused.
