DESCRIPTION
This is a 1977 Corvette Project Car.
The body is in great shape and it runs, drives, and stops. However, it hasn’t been on the road in at least 5 years and I have just been cranking it up every couple of weeks to keep things lubricated. It rarely moves out of the garage except to be washed.
I started replacing the interior several years ago but ran out of money/time. There is a new dash, column, gauge clusters, etc., but the majority of the interior pieces need to be replaced. The interior was originally red, but I decided to go black so all of the new interior pieces are black. I have a lot of the original red interior pieces but they are mostly brittle and damaged.
I have noticed some small oil leaks and transmission fluid leaks when I move it out of the garage.
As stated already, the car starts and moves around the yard just fine. However, I cannot make any promises to its dependability as it has been mainly sitting in the garage for 5 years. If you are buying this car you should be prepared to comb through it mechanically before putting it on the road.
I am sure there are a lot of other issues I am not aware of as well. It is a 40 year old car that has been sitting for many years and has never undergone a restoration. If you decide to take on this project please understand this.
Once the interior is finished and all the minor issues are fixed this will be a very nice car. I wish I could finish it…
Serious inquires only. Contact me if you have any questions or want to take a look. If you are bidding I expect you are buying. I am selling on ebay because I do not feel like dealing with all the tire kickers. I reserve the right to sell the car at any time to the highest bidder.
