1950 Chevrolet Deluxe StyleLine 2-Door Sedan
Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to view my 1950 Chevy Deluxe 2 Door. This 1950 Deluxe has been very well taken care of over the years and has been loved all of its life. It was repainted back in the late 70s by the second owner. His wife always wanted it to be blue, so that's what he painted it. It was originally Mist Green and she never liked that color. Once it was repainted, she fell in love with it. They owned it for over 30 years and drove it back and forth from north Mississippi to southern Georgia once a month. When the gentleman passed away, his wife let it sit on a covered concrete slab for years. She never wanted to sell it while she could enjoy it......although she never actually did. When she got to where shecouldn'tdrive anymore, she had her grandson list it for sale locally. When he took this Deluxe to sell it, he fell in love with it as well. He bought it from her and decided to paint it back to the original Mist Green. As he began to sand on the car little by little by little, he realized that hewasn'table to afford the paint job he wanted to adorn the car with. Instead he drove the car for awhile and eventually he decided to sell it. Thats is when I heard about the car. Upon seeing the car, just as you're seeing it here today, I fell in love with it and had to buy it. I loved it just the way it is. The hood and the roof has some sand marks, but the rest of the car is covered in beautiful natural patina. I thought it had such a cool and unique look to it that I decided to leave the paint alone. I knew the car ran great, but I wanted to make it reliable and fun to drive. I ordered everything it needed for a full tune up along with new brake shoes, lines, and a new gas tank. Anything and everything that I found that it needed, I ordered it new if I could find it. Now, Iwouldn'tbe afraid to jump in it at any given time and drive it across country. It runs, shifts, drives, handles, and brakes so well that it could easily be someone's daily driver. The body is excellent with no rust anywhere that I've found. The interior is just how its always been since it was painted blue. The interior is extremely nice and there are no holes in the seats. The dash gauges work asthey'resupposed to and it is very clean inside. I detailed the engine bay and was very surprised at how original I found it under the hood. Please take a look at the pictures that I uploaded toeBay. I took over 100 pictures and had posted them in the description, but Photobucket lost a lot of their paid users accounts, so it disabled all of my links. As soon as Photobucket gets back up and going, hopefully thepictureswill be back up, but as for now, those 24 pictures thateBayallows, will have to do. They definitely show this 50 Deluxe for what it is, but the otherpicturesthat I took really show this car in detail so you'll know just how nice it actually is.
This is a very nice, enjoyable Chevy with some awesome honest patina that you can drive anywhere and enjoy it just as it is, or just drive it while you make it your own. I've taken a lot of pics, and I hope Igetto repost those soon. My cell is 662-416-0900 and I'll be glad to answer any questions or entertain any reasonable offers that you might have. This is a reliable Deluxe that Iwouldn't be afraid to drive anywhere. Thank you, good luck, and Godbless.
