In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of this Chevrolet, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this Bel Air. When you walk around it you will notice that the body is all rock solid and has an excellent fit of all the panels. All of the gaps are even and symmetrical and the body lines flow perfectly. This car is covered in the Harbor Blue paint which is the factory option for it. It was redone in base coat clear coat and has one of the most impressive finishes you will see. It's laid a on laser straight body that really makes the mirror finish pop. It's accented by the White Convertible top that was replaced new and is Power. It also has the White boot to match for when the top is down. The '57 is known for all of the iconic chrome and stainless and this one won't disappoint. No matter where you look every piece looks like it's new on the show room floor. To finish off the stance it's sitting on a set of factory style Steel Wheels with Chevy Hubcaps and White Wall Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Convertible. On the inside it's done in the Two-Tone Blue Color Combination which is the factory option for it. Just like the exterior, every piece of trim is like new and is very impressive with how excellent the fit is. The seats are phenomenally with the covers being practically new as well and all the padding being excellent. The carpet appears to have been replaced along with all the door panels. Looking at the dash it all looks stock with all the gauges working as they should. The radio looks stock as well but has been upgraded to an FM set up that is working. All the lights are working in this Bel Air and even the cigarette lighter works. In the trunk it's all rock solid as well. It's been detailed with the factory style black mat, and it also comes with the Jack and Spare combo.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood it's powered by the correct 283 V8 Engine. It's set up with the correct 3732690 Intake and Rochester 2 Barrel Carb. It has the correct '57 model heads on it as well. This '57 is dressed in the factory style valve covers and air cleaner. Everything under the hood has a stunning detail and will take you right back to when this car was new. It even has the generator on it. The 283 is mated to the Synchronized Three Speed manual trans and stock style rear end. For exhaust it has the factory style manifolds with the single exhaust and stock style muffler. It has the standard steering and brakes with drums on all four corners. It's had a new gas tank installed along with new fuel lines. Under the front everything has been replaced and you can tell as it is one of the best driving Bel Air's on the market.
