You are looking at the only set of 1963 and 2013 Matching VIN Number Corvettes to ever be built. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy something you will likely never see offered again. This is a matching SET of Corvettes, only to be sold together as a set!
TO BE CLEAR... The purchase price agreed upon for this auction is for 2 CARS - both the 19633 and 2013 Corvettes. They are being sold as a set. Ebay won't allow for the cars to be doubled up in one listing, so we had to list the four Corvettes in 4 separate listings (this is also a 1958/2008 matching VIN set for sale), even though they are being sold as two sets. When you go to purchase the set, you are agreeing on a price for that set of 2 cars. So the buy it now is for 2 cars, NOT double the buy it now. For simplicity, I would recommend when buying one of the sets of cars, giving your full offer on one of them and a dollar on the other. Ebay has worked with us to make this happen and make sure we don't split the sets up. Doing it in this format was the way they felt comfortable and still offers the buyers protection as well. Please feel free to ask questions, glad to help as much as I can.
Now let's get started!
The owner of these cars had completed another set of matching VIN Corvettes, a 1958 and 2008, which are also for sale as a set in another listing. After enjoying owning that pair, he began to think about what many would argue to be the most iconic Corvette of all time, the 63 split window. He began to think if he found the right one, and could talk Chevrolet into it, he could do it one more time. Through some conversations and even being told it would never happen, more than once, he got a call, and the rest is history! This may be the most stunning set of matching VIN Corvettes on the planet and it is the ONLY matching VIN 63/13 set to be done. They are the perfect bookends. The first year of the C2 Corvette and the last year of the C6. This 13 was literally one of the last off the line, which is also part of the reason that it almost didn't get built, and why the owner was not allowed to watch it being built this time. The Corvette plant was changing things over to begin production of the C7s at the time, and the public was not yet allowed to see anything pertaining to the C7s yet. Rich history right here. These truly belong in someone's collection or a museum.
Both of these cars are stunning. Each is amazing in it's own right, but together as a matching VIN set, wow. It's just unbelievable to see them together. That being said, let's look at some specifics of each car.
1963 Corvette Split Window Hardtop
This car is an anomaly. You are looking at an original 47K mile 63 split window, survivor. With paperwork all the way back to the day it was sold off the lot, we can track almost everything that has ever been done to the car. It is unbelievable to have that kind of documentation on a vehicle of any kind, of this age. The car has it's original paint, original interior, original everything. It's a survivor car, not a restoration. So yes, if you look hard, you may find a chip or two (only seen when the headlamps are up), but those chips themselves are as vintage as the car and it shows amazingly well considering the age of the paint and car as whole. The car itself was ordered as a L84 w/power windows (super rare), and got optioned with almost everything you could want, minus the larger fuel tank. It's everything you could ask for in performance in 63, with THE Fuel Injected 327 rated at 360HP, backed by the M20 4Speed, and posi trac rear axle out back. This fuelie is a breathtaking car by itself, and now it has a counterpart!
2013 Corvette Grand Sport
The 13 Grand Sport is an amazing car and was ordered with some amazing options. The car got the 6.2 Liter v8 with SFI, backed by a 6 speed manual transmission. Being a Grand Sport it comes with a removable roof panel to enjoy the weather when desired. As the technology has gotten better since 63, you also get things like, traction control, speed sensitive power steering with variable ration rack and pinion, active handling, and all the comfort stuff like tire pressure monitoring, run flat tires, keyless access with remote start, airbag deployment response, turn by turn navigation, front and side air bags, anti-lock 4 wheel disc brakes, 6 way power driver seat, leather wrapped steering wheel, and steering wheel controls. It has the upgraded 2LT package, which comes with XM radio, navigation, AM/FM, CD player, Bose Premium audio 9 Speaker system, Bluetooth for phone, Heads up display, and luggage shade with cargo net. It was also ordered with the chrome aluminum wheels, ZR1 rear spoiler, crossed flag embroidery on the headrests, all on red leather interior. And about that red leather interior... THIS WAS NOT EVEN AN OPTION ON THIS CAR. This it the ONLY 13 Corvette built with RED LEATHER INTERIOR - THE ONLY ONE, but it had to be done to match the 63, right? All this and it's still basically a brand new 2013 Grand Sport Corvette!
The 13 was delivered for pickup at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. When this took place, the owner brought along the 63 for it to sit next to the 13 in the museum for the day. It was quite a sight to behold, having these two red beauties together for the public to see. Did I mention the museum wanted to keep all four cars there, wiling to give them their own special spot on display? But alas, they would go home where they belonged, until now.
Both cars run as they should with no issues and were just serviced this year.
We are also selling one of the only 2 sets of matching VIN 1958/2008 Corvettes from the same owner, in other listings, be sure to check those out in our other auctions!

Serious buyers may make a appointment to see the cars in person if desired. We can also assist in picking you up at the airport in Nashville, TN, and bringing you out to see the cars. Thanks for looking!
Shipping: I'm glad to help with setting up shipping, but it will be the responsibility of the buyer to ultimately pay for and decide on who to have ship the cars. Prices do not include shipping.
