Car description

Up for auction is a really nice, original 1969 Chevelle Super Sport. This car is a total restoration project, meaning it needs a full restoration. The car was originally built in Van Nuys, California, and has remained in California its whole life. The car was originally a true SS car, with a 325hp 396 and a TH400 automatic trans. Engine and trans are not included. The original color is dark maroon with a black vinyl top and black interior. The body is in clean, original condition. It has minimal rust holes in trunk and floor pans (nothing bigger than a pencil sized hole) See pics. There is no rust in windshield or rear window areas, small rust spot at bottom of rf fender and rr 1/4. I also have a ton of original parts that are included. The car was taken apart in the 80's and the chassis was restored: painted, all new suspension bushings, ball joints, steering parts, brakes, shocks, fuel lines, brake lines, etc. Then the owner went thru a divorce and the stripped chassis was moved from location to location. He never finished the restoration. All the body parts are there, original gas tank, factory 14" super sport wheels (with biased ply tires! LOL) black interior with bucket seats, factory center console with horse shoe shifter, steering column with ss wheel, factory SS instrument cluster with factory tach and gauges, 3.31 posi 12 bolt rearend (code CE 1011B) original super sport hood. Included with the car is 4 totes full of the parts that were taken off the car, some usable, some not. Properly restored, this car is worth north of $75k, but it will take some love and elbow grease to get it there. I have done my best to properly and honestly describe the car. If you have specific questions, please email me and I will do my best to answer your questions. Thanks for looking, and please check my feedback!!!!!!!
