Over the top incredible restoration. We have a photo album of the entire 3 year process. The body was taken down to a bare shell and put on a rotisserie. Every square centimeter is pristine top to bottom. Understated but very impressive at the same time.
EXTERIOR: Pristine body with precision fit panels. The gaps are square and flush, doors click shut. Side moldings and emblems were removed for a clean look. The Glasurit base-clear paint is laid out and polished like glass. Jambs are slick. Has custom made gas door. Headlight bezels, grill, stainless is professionally straightened and polished. Show quality chrome on the bumpers. Sharp looking 17 inch Intro billet wheels with Nitto performance tires, a bit wider in back. All new seals and weatherstrips.
INTERIOR: Pristine from floor to ceiling. Has vacuum florescent digital gauges. Updated power window system. Super Sport bucket seats and console with a correct 62 shifter. Professionally custom upholstered seats, headliner and door panels. Seats were resprung and cushioned. Has premium carpet and matching floormats with bound edges. Original radio is converted to fm stereo and has remote for cd changer. Very clean custom installation of the heat-air controls and vents. Sharp looking Billet Specialties steering wheel on a new tilt column. Very discreet buttons at the end of the tilt and turnsignal levers operate the wipers and high beams. All new wiring harness from American Autowire. Any metal is meticulously painted, any chrome is show quality.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 350-355 hp crate motor from GM performance. Has aluminum heads and intake, Demon carb, Sanderson coated headers. Dressed up with matching aluminum valve covers and plug wire holders. The front of the motor has billet pulleys, chrome alternator and brackets. Updated 605 power steering with polished remote reservoir and stainless hoses. The fuel lines and heater hoses are neatly bent polished stainless. Has Vintage Air system with polished compressor and stainless hoses. All the metal surfaces are completely smooth and painted meticulously. Topped off with a 56 Caddy air cleaner.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is completely boxed and upholstered and carpeted. Botttom of the trunk lid is upholstered. The air ride compressor and cd changer is hidden behind the panels. The floor lifts up for storage.
UNDERSIDE: Amazingly clean. Absolutely no rust. When it was on the lift I challenged the guys to find even a pit, they couldn't. The frame and chassis components are perfectly smooth, painted semi gloss black. The floors are just as nice and painted high gloss body color. Has Air Ride Technologies air ride suspension front and back. It is easily controlled inside the car with electronic touch pad, has preset settings. Upfront is completely rebuilt and detailed, it has drop spindles, StrongArm tubular control arms. Bottom of the motor is spotless, has high torque starter. Has Muncie 4-speed trans. In back it has tubular control arms, new bushings and shocks. All new custom brake system with disc at all four wheels, e-brake assembly is complete. All new fuel system- tank straps, lines, sending unit. Neatly bent stainless exhaust system with polished Magnaflow mufflers. Every bracket, clip, nut and bolt are pristine. You could eat off the bottom but I won't let you, dont want to get the car dirty! Incredible car that is turnkey ready to enjoy today at a fraction of what it would cost you to build!
