You are viewing a garage kept 1 owner car i purchased from the original 85 year old gentlemen 3 days agohe bought new i, and last registered it in 1985 ...as pictured on windshield last NJ Inspection
he told me through our long day spent conversations, eventually he hit an age where he would not use it muc, and bought this for himself as a mid life crisis car back theni asked him " is this correctly the original mileage, or is it 122....he stated No, after 1985 it only had about 21,000 miles, and when parked in his garag, seldom used 3 decades later we have come around 22,000 miles( although it cant be proven on paper, or the title is from back in 1985...they didnt put mileage on cars then for era year in New Jersey...."Ill Take His Word !!)
for the cars condition..............its an amazing Time Capsule,,,Although he said due to some chips and wear, back 10 years or 11 years ago he had repainted to its original color ( Pic of Cowl Tag Decodes that all interior, and top, and exterior colors are factory).....the paint looks like it was done Last week, and beautifulThe engine is the original 283 V8....Never been out of car....along with its Original Carburator that was rebuilt not long ago he said.......as well as a brand new Gas Tank.....
look at the Vintage Washer Fluid bottle still retains to wall clip for the Original wheel wel, ,,,,original Harrison Radiator,...This Car has too much in tact OEM originalitypower top goes up & down with the pull of the switch....its the original pump motor electric as well "incredible"the door sills are so original still after 55 years..you can see a bit of Plastic from the dealer that was mislooked and not removed.......
its in amazing condition....the original rug, etc...Power Top Switch.....and of course the Nostalgic 1960s smell in the car...(i usually have 1970 era cars, and same smells)it has its very minimal wear, yet impeccable after 55 years...the back seat as shown has a seam open...the front driver seat he kept a towel over..some less the a finger size wear by the L curve...and some very, very, light alligator cracking where towel is yet maybe 1/4 s
tires are perfect..no dry rot,....underside pics are there to show how good the frame and most of the floors are...but understand its 55 years old,,,there are a few spots that if you wanted to make this a trailer queen you would need to attend to, as goes the rear wheel wells..inner...the backing have rusted out,,,they do make them and you can replace them but the car drives new....and your not finding a car this original THIS IS THE ONLY & FINAL AUCTION FOR THIS CAR......!!!!
