Car description |

This RARE 3-door, Custom 10 Suburban runs EXCELLENT. Rebuilt 350/V8 with Holley 4 barrel carb and dual exhaust delivers a throaty, sounding roar. Can be an everyday driver or weekend head-turner. Either way, get ready to be flagged down, honked at, waved at, and given a thumbs up from every other driver on the road. I obtained this vehicle nearly two years ago from a barn outside Atlanta, GA. Drove her home from Atlanta to Miami with no issues. Have since taken multiple long distance road trips and she’s run strong every time. The previous owner did some minor improvements (paint/carpet, wood headliner, new gas tank.) I have done, or had a professional do everything else on this list. The big items are thebrand new transmission, new extra large radiator, new dual exhaust fans, new bench seats, new air conditioning, rewiring, complete dash overhaul, new rubber on every window and door, new front quarter windows, new grille, and more.
- New front bench seat cushion and cover w/classic scroll pattern
- New middle bench seat cover, arm rests, ash trays, rails painted
- New rear bench seat cover, arm rests, ash trays, rails painted
- Dash – New dash pad; New wood grain steering wheel; New instrument gauge cluster w/new bezel; New (retro look) stereo w/audio jack input for phone/mp3, mini-amplifier, front Infinity brand speakers with kickplates, rear speakers; painted glove box with new Chevrolet/Custom emblem; 2nd horn installed with boat/marine double horns; new windshield washer pump, new windshield wipers; New headlight and wiper knobs.
- New sun visors and mounting hardware
- New front vent windows
- New rearview mirror
- New side mirrors
- Every single door/window/tailgate rubber seals/rattles are brand new
- New window regulators (smooth operating)
- New front door panels to match bench seat scroll pattern, new metal trim; Back seat door panels are needed.
- All new interior and exterior door hardware, handles, window cranks
- New 3 point seat belts in front, and lap belts on rear benches
- All new locks on every door and new ignition/key
- New door sill plates
- New Chevrolet interior floor mats
- New rear (3rd row) side panels with matching scroll pattern like seats and door panel (I have these new in the box, not installed yet.)
- Carpeting 7/10 (new in 2017, prior to my ownership; Has some cuts for seat and AC install.
- Paint 8/10 (new paint in 2017, prior to my ownership; Looks great from a distance, but upon close inspection there are signs that it was not a great job. Livable for the weekend warrior, but might consider redoing paint if you plan to show the vehicle.)
- Mechanical – 36,000 miles (estimated, not confirmed!) on original rebuilt 350 V8 with Holley 4 barrel carb; New Holley air filter; New automatic transmission geared for the 420 engine (better ratio for towing); repaired two oil leaks and one exhaust leak. New 200 amp alternator, New battery, added a second battery as well.
- New Air Conditioning added from Old Air Products. In dash AC bezels. Freezing cold!
- New front end sway bar kit/bushings
- New - all brake light and side light covers and bulbs.
- New – all exterior emblems Custom10 and V8/350 behind wheel wells
- New – front Grille/Headlight bezels and blue bowtie emblem on hood
- Added 2†lift in springs
- All off-road 31†tires with classic rally wheels and matching spare
- Custom retro wood roof rack
(*Back seat doors need panels. I have two brand new front door panels as extras I bought, but they are too big for the rear. An interior shop could probably cut them and make them work, or just do basic black to match. Middle bench seat is not bolted in at the moment, to make it easier to install door panels. Rear bench seat is also not mounted to the floor in the event you decide you would rather have the room in back.)
