This 1987 Chevrolet K-10 4x4 Custom Deluxe is the one classic pickup with everything you want. It has a lifted 4x4 stance and is geared for off-roading; there's a comfortable A/C interior; and it has a powerful stroker V8 with the control of four-on-the-floor. So as you dig into all the details, you really see a thoughtful total build that covers all your needs.
A short bed Chevy from this era has a terrific look. After all, the square-jaw design looks even beefier when it's on a lifted 4x4. This toughness has elegance, too, thanks to polished alloys, a billet grille, clear headlights, and an upgrade to a modern metallic gray paint with a terrific shine. You can easily spot the performance look that comes from the double-hump cowl hood that features red stripes with neon green pinstriping for real distinction. There's even custom red accenting in the tailgate for a subtle added aggression. While we know you love how all these different personalities converge on the exterior, what you'll really love is that this custom truck never loses its versatility. There's Line-X protective paint in the bed, diamond plating protecting the bed tops, a matching locking diamond plate box, and proper trailer hitch with electrical plug. So you know this upgraded truck is still ready to get to work.
Inside is a comfy red interior. You get the right factory pieces, like a nice bench with comfy cloth inserts and an instrument panel that wraps around the driver. But you can also see this one has been upgraded nicely. The dash panel and doors now have tasteful metal inserts. The radio is now a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with a USB input for your phone, and it connects to an upgraded speaker system. The air conditioning blows nice and cold with modern R134a. Plus, the steering wheel is on a tilt column, which gives you a nice view of the factory gauges and well-integrated upgraded Sunpro readouts, including a handy tach.
Under the hood is going to be your favorite upgrade of them all. This 383 cubic-inch stroker V8 is a terrific fortified performance build. It includes an Eagle rotating assembly, two-valve relief coated pistons, Elgin Pro Stock cam (514/533 lift), and 441 heads. This mighty motor inhales deeply with a Holley 670 CFM four-barrel carburetor and Torker intake, and it exhales with authority as ceramic coated long tube headers add even more power while contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. It even has the right supporting components, like an Optima red top battery and MSD ignition. A two-speed transfer case, six-inch lift, and Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires give you true off-road ability. The four-speed manual transmission not only gives you full control over the powerful V8, but also the granny gear in first means it loves the off-road, too. Features like power steering and power brakes w/discs up front are great for the street or trail. And the dual fuel tanks mean you can go further on every adventure.
Complete with owner's manual, this is the one classic truck that does it all. So you know you need to get it in your driveway. Call now!
